Other reactions; hives, edema (swelling) of the face and lips, localized or generalized pruritus (itching), hyperpigmentation are most common. Sometimes phototoxic reactions from high doses of certain chemotherapy drugs and sun may appear within 5 to 20 hours after exposure. These give the appearance of a bad sunburn with possible swelling, blistering, weeping and peeling in the areas directly exposed.

Application: Since each of us has a background in dermatology, as part of our regular service we check for pre-cancerous lesions, moles that may have changed shape or size, and any unusual skin conditions. When clients leave our facility, they’re armed with the knowledge of which products will work best on their skin, how to use the products they already have at home, and what to look for in the future. We can also advise clients on how to incorporate topicals that may have been prescribed by their physician into their skincare regimen.

Restoration: Science has proven that stress wreaks havoc on our skin (among other things) and can even exacerbate existing conditions.
