What Is BOTOX® Cosmetic?

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a prescription medicine that is injected into muscles and used to improve the look of moderate-to-severe frown lines between the brows in people 18 to 65 years of age for a short period of time (temporary).

BOTOX® Cosmetic is administered by a healthcare professional as a simple, nonsurgical treatment that is injected directly into the muscles between the brows. It works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles. This reduces muscle activity that causes moderate to severe lines to form between the brows.

How does BOTOX® Cosmetic work?

It works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles. This reduces muscle activity that causes moderate to severe lines to form between the brows.

When will I see results from a BOTOX® Cosmetic treatment?

Within days, you may see a marked improvement in the moderate-to-severe frown lines between your brows. Lines continue to improve for up to 30 days, and results can last for up to 4 months. Individual results may vary.

How long does BOTOX® Cosmetic last?

Our specialists use a unique type of massage, which was developed in Europe, by Dr. Jacquet. By design, massage creams and oils are not used in this treatment. This method helps to dissolve and soften bumps related to cystic acne, by emptying the oil ducts in the skin and also by bringing blood and oxygen to the surface of the skin, which helps heal existing acne. This is a wonderful supplement to whatever medical treatment the Dr. has prescribed.

What is Facial Contouring?

What is Microdermabrasion?

Microdermabrasion or “closed dermabrasion” is a non-painful, non-invasive technique to remove the outermost layer of skin, the stratum corneum. This is the protective layer between the environment and the lower layers of skin. It also houses fine lines and blemishes, and controls which topical products may enter the dermis.

The microdermabrasion device uses vacuum pressure to draw micro-crystals via hand piece across the skin’s surface, exfoliating dead skin cells. This treatment is effective for a variety of conditions:

Collagen is rich in humectants – substances that promote the retention of moisture. In this treatment, collagen-based products are used to moisturize dehydrated skin. A fiber collagen treatment is especially helpful in the winter months or after flying.

A traditional therapy involving the use of vitamins E, B5, C, A and anti-oxidants such as CO-Q 10, alpha lipoic acid, which have been proven to delay or slow down free radical formation and stimulate collagen production. Treatment is followed by Azulene, collagen and Royal Jelly ampules, sunscreen and moisturizers for deep hydration.
